ABOUT THE ARTIST

Hola!  My name is Tres Jamar and I am a photographer based out of Austin, TX.  I am what you would call an enthusiast or a hobbyist which basically means that in my spare time, I like to stir my creative juices by getting out and shooting some photos.  I don't have an ethos or try to convey some sort of message through the images that I shoot.  I'm a Gen X'er; you can basically sum up our generational ethos with three short words phrased as follows: "Is it cool?".   When a place, view, scene, person, etc. catches my eye, my mind automatically asks, "Is it cool?".  If the answer is yes, then I take the shot.  I'm basically like those 1990's hip-hop artists whose only goal was to be "the flyest guy(s) in the room".  I just want to take cool photographs and through this web page and social media, I would like to share them with you.
